How to Record Your Voice from a Microphone on Windows?

1. Download and install MP3 Audio Recorder

2. Connect your microphone to the computer

Attach the microphone to your PC and make sure it’s properly recognized for recording.

Check your microphone
Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
In your computer’s Sound settings, navigate to “Input” to confirm your microphones are recognized.

3. Pick your microphone from the “Device” dropdown.

4. Start recording

Click the “Record” button to start recording, or press the F5 shortcut key.

5. Stop recording

Click the “Stop” button to stop recording, or press the F8 shortcut key.

6. Play the recording file

Right-click a recording in the history and choose “Play” to listen to the file.
